Attorney Cohen served as assistant to the Chairman of the Advisory Committee to the Minister of Interior on Refugee Affairs between 2010 and 2014. This committee dealt with requests for political asylum.

Since 2014, Attorney Cohen has been working at the Population and Immigration Authority.

In continuation, Adv. Cohen fulfills the role of manager of the Corporate and Private Immigration Department in the Administration of Foreign Workers, a department that serves as a regulator in all matters related to the employment of foreign workers by accredited building corporations and outsourcing companies, as well as a regulator in all matters related to the mediation of foreign workers by private agencies in the fields of healthcare and agriculture. For many years, Adv. Cohen has been providing training and lectures in these areas of expertise. Adv. Cohen's extensive experience in all areas of the Population and Immigration Authority's activities serves her clients well
